This is a first for a blog

Today I had enough and unsubscribed from the Fast Blog :

(http://fastforwardblog.com) I could not take anymore of their repetition. This is most definitely a first - unsubscribing due to constant repetition!

I was so puzzled by the repetition I started to suspect there was something wrong with the feed. After investigation I discovered there wasn't any issues with the feed, the problem was the constant regurgitation of the same subjects. It actually starts appearing like a splog after a while, picking up other feeds and recombining them, only it doesn't have enough random in it, hence the repetition. I investigated the site directly only to find that this is a site produced for a conference on behalf of a sponsor (Fast enterprise search) organised by Corante. I hadn't realised this before, and now it makes sense, the contributors are mostly good writers/bloggers in themselves, but when combined around some obvious dictation of threads from Corante/Fast, turn into some sort of Frankenstein blog.

In short I cannot remember how it got on my subs list but I have now removed it as it is worse than noise. It is like having an annoying audible buzz removed from one's ipod, anyone else feel the same way?
